Ideas..

I finally have my jewelry making supplies and just got my new Fire Mountain Gems and Beads catalog. I think I'm going to be curled up with that for about a month trying to decide what to order first. I really can't wait to start making jewelry.
After all it's that time of year in up-state New York that no one is really looking for knitted goods since it's finally nice weather out and I don't want to sit under the things that I'm knitting in 90 degree heat. But as excited as I am to start making jewelry I'm still missing a lot of things to fully get started. Things are getting there and I promise that I will start having some small amounts of jewelry very soon, just not as soon as I had hoped. In the mean time I will be knitting some lighter more summer wear things on account that I just came into a large amount of yarn that I need to get used up or at least organized enough to not look like a yarn store exploded in my living room. Not that I'm complaining. I love having all this yarn. Now the hardest part is trying to find things that I like to make with it all. I've already started on a nice afghan that I can't wait to get finished. I've been waiting months to do up this pattern

The first 3 out of 12 squares are finished and I will have pictures of it up as soon as it's finished and sewn together. I hope you all love it as much as I do.

I suddenly have so many supplies for so many different projects I can't keep myself focused on one project at a time at the moment. I'm hoping that once the high of all the new things fades I'll be able to focus better and get everything finished up rather then starting and going on to something else before finishing it.

How about you? Do you find it hard to focus on one project at a time? Do you often keep multiple projects going to prevent the boredom that comes from large projects?

As always don't forget to follow me on twitter and Facebook.
